Target Audience: The target audience for this activity is MDs,
PhDs, residents, fellows, research staff interested in learning
more about research and clinical developments in the
Cognitive/Affective Neurosciences and related clinical
disciplines
Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1) Identify brain structures involved in the neuroanatomical
basis of mindfulness meditation
2) Summarize current information about the impact of mindfulness
on emotion regulation
3) Discuss the relationship between neurobiological changes and
changes in clinical symptoms
