small robot plane drops out of the sky to dust some
conurbation with anthrax or smallpox is not very far
off.

The prospect is relevant to NT in two ways (at least).
One is as a stimulus to research on issues of interest.
Examples of this effect can already be found (see
world.std.com/~fhapgood/PEBBLES). There is also the
possibility that possession of the NT perspective might
prove helpful in turning a buck in the aftermath of
such an event.  Both these points could be discussed.
